Time Out

Elijah has recently started earning trips to time out.
Yes, I know. Hard to believe my little angel would ever disobey.
Ha.
Mainly, he goes in for climbing on things he shouldn't.
After a couple warnings it's TO time.
Time out consists of him sitting in the corner for maybe 30 secs to a min.
(He's 16 months, anything longer and he forgets what he's there for).
So the other day he's in TO and having a fit.
Squirming around everywhere so I'm holding him still.
He turns and WHAM! Whacks his head into the wall.
I feel terrible!
Obviously take him out of TO and console him.
A few days later...
He's in timeout again.
Adam and I are both standing there watching him.
He looks at us, then turns around, gently hits his head on the door and looks back at us.
Does a little fake cry.
When we don't let him out he repeats.
It was hilarious.
I had to walk away to keep from cracking up.
Oh yeah...
little angel.

Long time no blog...

Happy Sunday followers.
I know, I know.
It's been a while.
I blinked and a month went by. Not sure what happened...
Any-whoo...
Elijah's up to the same... growing every day into such a wonderful little boy.
I must put emphasis on the boy part.
He loves to run and climb, sports and balls, be loud, make messes and eat dirt.
Yup.
All boy.
Here are some sweet picture of him coloring - one of his new favorite things to do. When he wants to color he pulls out his table and chairs and makes a coloring motion with his hand in the air. Adorable.

Sitting on his fishy ball watching Sesame Street.
Elmo was learning Salsa.
Elijah was pretty excited.
Some of his other favorite things...
Spongebob.
He LOVES Spongebob.
Now, he rarely actually watching the show (won't stay still or pay attention to anything for that long) but he is crazy about the theme song.
He recognizes the characters too and whenever he sees them he goes
"OOOOOOOH" (As in "OOOOh! Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?"
For those of you without little ones, it's the beginning of the theme song).
Here he found a Spongebob box in the closet and went in to get a closer look.
