Four Years

Adam and I celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary today.

Happy four years my love.
They have been more than I could have ever dreamed.
You make every day meaningful.
Thank you for more love than I deserve.
I love you like crazy.

Summer Fun with the Fam

As promised...
here are just a few of the MANY pictures taken
while Mom and Matthew were here.

We did a little of everything
and had a whole lot of fun...

My momma

My Booger

Elijah loves his Uncle Matty.

Dressing up in Shawn's hat
(thought he was super cool)

Played basketball with the boys.

My boys (minus the hubbs):
Matthew, (Hannah), Shawn, Uncle Dave, E

We went to the beach.
Elijah liked to be outside,
loved the water,
HATED the sand.
(what can I say, he is my kid)

We were able to capture a few cute pics
before the sand meltdown
where E got sand everywhere
(and I do mean everywhere)
and freaked out right there on the beach.
I thought he had stepped on a jelly fish
as they were everywhere.
But alas, once washed off and sand free
he was as happy as could be.
Needless to say,
beach trip was short
and we won't be having another one
anytime soon.

We went to the Science Center.
Elijah LOVED it there!
Here's Mom, E and Matty brewing up some trouble.

Digging for dinosaur bones

Playing with the boats in the water center.
Nearly had to drag him away from this
kicking and screaming.

Me and my love E in front of the fish.
(included "Bebo" - Nemo)

We went to Downtown Disney
(the free version we use to get our Disney fix)
Elijah got to "meet" his idol -
Buzz Lightyear!

He was so super excited!

Grandma took him on the merry-go-round.

Matthew wanted Mac-n-Cheese Pizza...
Yup, that's pizza with macaroni and cheese on top.
It was surprisingly DELICIOUS :)

And we took him out for ice cream to celebrate his good grades.
Keep up the good work kid!

To finish off we had a barbecue with most of the family
and celebrated lots of birthdays.

It was a fantastic week
and we were so thankful for some time
with our much missed family!

Sneak Peak Pic

Mom and Matthew arrived yesterday and we're having so much fun already.
I promise to post more pictures later,
but this is one of my favs so far.

Matthew, Shawn and Elijah
all played basketball together.

Elijah really thought he was one of the big boys
and could make all the shots.

He almost did...
with a little help from his uncle.

My Boys

This week was Adam's 24th Birthday!
To celebrate the whole family went out to dinner last weekend.

Elijah and Maw Maw :)

I know.
The cuteness level is almost ridiculous.

The Teston boys.

Maw Maw used chop sticks for the first time :)

And now to share a couple pictures
I found too cute not to post...

Mmm... chocolate chip cookies.
Have I mentioned they're a favorite in the Teston house?

Wearing mommy's "eyes"

I have the next 9 days off work,
Mom and Matty are coming to visit.
Lots of posts and pictures to come, I'm sure.

Crafter in the Making...

I've always enjoyed doing crafts,
even though I'm not always very good at them :)

Lately, I've been nearly obsessed with
all things craft.
I'm a craft blogger junkie.

I ordered my first sewing machine yesterday (yay!)
and thought it would be fun to see the progress.

So I'm starting way back.

It all started,
with a sheep pillow.

Karlie and I made these one weekend
way back in high school.

Then a couple years ago I decided to start up knitting.
And I made lots of scarves...

Here's Adam, Gramma, Mom and Matthew
all staying warm with my hand-made creations.
(Kept everyone toasty in Vermont)

Jumping forward a few months
we found out we were pregnant
and I decided to attempt my first blanket.
It came out fine...
except the size/shape of it.
(but it doesn't stop E from sleeping with it every night :)

Last year I learned out to knit socks.
Here are the ones I made for the girls at work.

For Aiden's first birthday I decided to make him and E
their own version of me and Karlie's sheep pillows.

For Aiden's second birthday I decided to keep on
with the home-made gifts.
I made him a Thomas the Train blanket
and Elijah this basketball one.

There's been a couple more blankets/scarves/socks in between
but (shame on me) I didn't take pics.

Let's see how this next step goes...
I'll keep it updated with my projects :)

A few of our very favorite things...

Playing Nemo with Daddy...

Chocolate chip cookie faces...

Swimming...

Stickers...

Aiden :)
