A month of pictures

Man, life has been a tad crazy busy lately. Mostly good busy. Let me try and fill you in through pictures:

Reese loves to sit on the counter in our bathroom, look in the little mirror at herself and then look at me up in the big one.

Adam's mom and Chuck are really into planking so for her birthday Elijah did these:

We celebrated Adam's awesome mom's birthday.

Adam broke his leg
(I said things have been mostly good!)

I found Elijah under the table doing this.
"I was just tracing my foot."
Just??

We had a day of kid fun when we watched baby Robert
and Shelbie and the girls came over.

We had a sweet visit with Ms Margaret who spoiled the kids with cookies and ice cream.

I rearranged Elijah's room to give him more play space and a reading corner.

Daisy kissed Reese.
A lot.

We had family movie night.
Watched Tangled.
Ate popcorn.
Had fun.

I did yard work.
Oh yes, I did.

Karlie introduced me to the Farmer's Market.
Aiden introduced Elijah to kettle korn.
We're both hooked.

We play with cars
and love Ikea.

Elijah woke up not happy,
but still so cute.

Reese grabs her toes.

Reesey Bug turned 5 months!

We've also participated in two yard sales and I've filled all my spare time discovering new blogs (toxel.com is awesome), watching Samantha Who on netflix and doing oodles of crafty things for a baby shower next month.

5 Months

Reesey Bug,
You my pretty girl, are already 5 months old. Wow. This was quite an exciting month for you. You are rolling over like craaaazy. It's awesome. Sometimes though, I put you on your back, you IMMEDIATELY roll over onto your belly, get mad and scream. I roll you back over and we go through the same exercise over. And over. And over. Then other times your just roll continuously until your all the way across the room from where you started. Also this month you have moved into the world of eating solids. Well, baby "solids" that is. Rice cereal and baby food. So far you've experienced sweet potatoes (your favorite), squash (your least), peas, green beans, bananas and pears. You are really getting the hang of it and I find it so amusing to watch you get so mad when I have to take the spoon back to the bowl to load back up. You sit there with an open mouth just waiting. You do not like when you've finished your food for two reasons: 1. The food's gone. 2. You really dislike getting your face washed off. You do not like sleeping, especially alone. It's sweet and frustrating. Your daddy is very content having you sleep in bed with us but I know that this is not good in the long run. You still love your baths and think Elijah and Daisy are hilarious. You are the sweetest, snuggliest little bug. Ever.

Elijah,
Handsome. I love you so much. Just more and more and more each day. Yesterday, you gave me a hug, squeezing so very tight and said, "You're my best friend ever." Sigh. I hope I never forget that moment as long as I live. You are becoming quite the talented singer/songwriter. I'm seeing a future here for sure. You walk around the house with your guitar and you sing about anything that pops into your head or you see. You like to stand up on church before praise and worship starts and do the same. It makes my heart so happy to see you enjoying music so much. You also love Brad Paisley (there are NO WORDS to describe how proud I am). You are addicted to Phineas and Ferb. It's pretty intense. I'm going to have to research a support group or something. Nothing else makes me laugh as much as you do. Thanks for being such a goof.
