Further proof that I have birthed a Mini-Adam: Elijah love peas. Yuck. Those small green balls of disgusting mush are favorite at mealtime. He eats them like candy.
In other news... we bought Elijah his first two pairs of shoes that actually fit him (yay!). Three stores and Elijah patiently waiting while I tried about a zillion pairs on his chunky little feet and we finally found some winners! We were not planning on buying shoes for him so soon, but given his newly found independence and love for walking I'm afraid we had no other choice. Walking around outside, in stores and restaurants, get his feet pretty dirty. Add that to his other love of sucking on his toes (don't get me started on that... even grosser than the peas, but as far as I know, not something he learned from his father), and the result was shoes. See above him trying them out around the house tonight. Also, a couple other recent pics of him eating cottage cheese and peaches for breakfast (another Adam trait... did this kid get anything from me?!).
That's my boy! There is nothing wrong with peas or cottage cheese so don't tell our boy otherwise. Of course he got something from you, have you seen his pouty face? :)
ReplyDeleteYes that pouty face I know it well (lol) Elijah is the best grandson ever!!!! Nope nothing wrong with peas and cottage cheese and just look at him enjoying it- I love it. Elijah looks so proud to be standing there in his shoes - Sooooo Cute!!!!
