25 weeks: Let the Countdowns Begin!

Howdy Hey!
25 weeks today.
Besides our big news of deciding on a name
there's not much to tell about our
little Reese today.
She's moving and kicking and all that good stuff.
14 weeks and 5 days to go!

More countdowns...
Less than 14 hours until Adam's graduation!
He not only passed all his classes,
but received A's
so he will be graduating tomorrow,
with honors.

9 more days until Christmas!
Hooray!

We've been having more fun this season than ever before.
This weekend we took Elijah to Sea World
(Huge THANKS to our friend Robbie!)
and we all loved seeing all the Christmas decorations.

Elijah's favorite part:
The Polar Express exhibit
that they have set up in the polar bear area.
He cried for that train when we left
and when he woke up from his nap that afternoon,
it was the first thing he asked about.

Last weekend we also did lots of baking
for Adam's office.
We made peanut butter cookies,
s'mores bars
and peanut butter cup brownies (delish!).

This pic is for my hubby:
Here's your wife,
barefoot and pregnant
in the kitchen.
:)

Adam tries to pretend I'm the only one who enjoys baking,
but he always end up in the kitchen
trying to "help me out".

Elijah and I have had a really good week
and even got some baby time with M&M.
He tries to be so helpful with her
and really enjoyed helping feeding and burping her.

Funny thing he's been doing lately:
he'll ask you a question while giving you the answer he wants.
Example,
today he wanted to watch Toy Story 3
(which wasn't going to happen)
but he asks by saying
"Buzz choo choo? Yes?"
while nodding his head "yes".
It's so funny I always laugh
(which is good because it helps soften the bad news
that he's not watching it).

Also in E news,
we've started potty training.
Started.
We had bought him a little potty a while back
but he won't use it.
Then, last Saturday he wanted to sit on the regular one
and sure enough, he went!
So we're just working on introducing it.
He's gone a couple times
and seems to understand how to go on it,
he just doesn't understand how to not go in his diaper.
After Christmas we'll really start buckling down.
But hey,
progress.

Lots of excitement in store for the weekend,
Adam's graduation
and then our annual Christmas church brunch on Sunday
(a favorite tradition for the past few years).

Happy and safe last weekend before Christmas!
